~Lindalicious Review~

I was really lucky to be approached by my friend linda recently. As some of you may know she runs a cute store inspired by 'kawaii' culture. Since I've reviewed her store before and knew she could trust me on this matter she asked me to review some of her items. Of course I jumped at the task since Lindalicious is one of my go to stores for buying affordable yet cute pieces of jewelry.

Now as someone who doesn't have a lot of money, to find a store which not only sells adorable products at cheap prices on top of always giving out discount codes and extremely reasonable shipping fees, its no wonder why I'm a big fan of her products.

I've brought from lindalicious around 2 or 3 times I believe and every parcel has been filled with love, freebies on top of what I've brought, and detail to personalisation on the packaging.

I'm really happy to give you guys this review, and I hope you'll be inspired to check out her store. For items starting from around 6p (yeah six pennies!) its a no brainer to check them out!

She currently has a discount code for 10% off her store right now

(use 'lindaliciousjewelry' for 10% off everything)

~Peppermint Puff: Review~

This is long overdue, I remember buying this a few days before expo thinking "I should probably save for expo but its so cute!"

Now look where we are, around 3 months late, I'm not the speediest of people opps...

Anyway, this is my Peppermint puff review!

Pink shiny packaging, cute tape, and a cute little sticker. Yes please!
The parcel arrived so quickly I initially told my mother when she said a parcel had arrived for me that she must be mistaken. That nothing I've ordered would arrive for another week- I was so chuffed!

(I love detail to decorating!)

This was the entire contents of the parcel. A box (containing the bag charm and a free gift), a leaflet, and two pieces of paper

I was super impressed with the little section to tear off and keep to tell you how to care for your handmade jewelry

Also the cute personalized bits on the notes just made my heart melt
(especially at that ❤phelia)

Now to actually look at the products!
Here is the contents of the box! How professional looking~

Like I've previously mentioned, I love it when stores spend a good amount of time around packaging and the overall look of the entire order! Peppermint puff has been one of the best (If not the best) packaging I've ever received from a store!

A unique box to keep your items safe in when not in use which you can use time and time again, especially when its so cute and decorated with deco tape, stickers. It includes padding and plastic wrapping in order to insure it arrives safely, and it looks extremely professional.

Now I need to talk about how friggin amazing this free gift is! As many of you will know my current love and fascination is larme kei. I adore pastel yet ethereal things, and with a fashion which feels like a combination of fairy kei, cult party kei, and otome you can see why I love it so dearly.

Bearing this in mind can you work out why I adore this ring so much. Its a cherub but its a light purple translucent  glittery cherub. It screams larme-kei and I'm totally in love with it!

I never expected to receive a little bonus with my package but The whole parcel feels like a bonus! I'm so impressed. The ring is super sturdy and the resin is really strong and not slightly bendy which a few of my other resin pieces are.

Now on to the actual bag charm. I'm in love with it, Like I said before I love larme kei. Chiffon, glitter and excessive amounts of whites with pastels. The charm is made up of white, pink and transparent's. Pretty much what most of my outfits are made up of.

The charm embodies everything I love (that's why I brought it duh) And the quality its quite unbelievable. Its also connected by not only one of those clasp like swivel clips, (which I really like) but it also comes with a little dust plug for your devices! With that you can make it a little charm for your phone or 3ds etc.

(And one of the things that upsets me with modern mobiles is the lack of being able to add cute phone charms)

~Review summary~

This has been one of the best purchases I've ever made. I can't think of a single complaint. Zilch.

The service was amazing, the product was amazing, the shipping was amazing, and the quality was amazing. I'm really happy I went through with buying the bag charm at a time when I should have been saving for the mcm the next weekend. I'll be buying from them again soon!

I brought the charm whilst there was a discount code on so I got even more for money! you should follow their social media in order to get updates and discount codes.

Thanks for reading, I'll be back soon so don't miss out!

~Everything's peachy! Just try your best!~

Life gets hectic even as someone like myself who does very little with her time.

And when gets hectic for people like me I find it hard to do anything at all under the pressure, I guess I'm too laid back to deal with life's hustle and bustle. But now that I'm in my own space with my laptop and with the support of others I feel able to ramble away.

I've so much to do in such a little space of time. I've a few reviews, some otds, D,I,Ys etc to post on my blogger and some video reviews and HyperJapan vlogs and hauls etc!

I also need to be up to date with my practicing for FuriFuri! I also still want to have time to post for Kawaii-B, and I personally haven't made a plan for everything yet. And as someone who heavily relies on plans to get things done I'm a little dumbfounded.

Nevertheless, I shall try my best, and in the end that's all anyone can do in those situations of stress. I may not post as often as I'd like but I post as often as I can in said circumstances.

Always try your best! You'll still be proud if you complete a small thing, and it was still something that people will appreciate.

❤Also Look at this amazing birthday picture Rina made me! I'm the rarest pepe!❤

I was able to go to Lagc a few weekends ago to perform with FuriFuri, and even though we were using Lagc to practice performing on stage I still felt really bad for messing up. I'm not someone of a performing past, nor do my joints move properly enough to keep up with everyone else. But I need to remember that it was my first time on stage like that and I cant be too disheartened. Your first post is never your best, your first step isn't that steady.  All I can do is learn from what happened, and hopefully next time we can all do a rehearsal leveled performance instead of a 'first performance' level performance! We can only get better as the more me learn!
We all tried our best and our best is good enough. the same as your best is always good enough!

(I was dressed as hanayo koizumi at Lagc!)

Also it was my birthday, I'm now officially more wrinkly than before! I got a cute cake and got a delish meal at Nandos. I find that Nando's has such an amazing vegetarian menu so I've pretty much lived there all year.

As well as that I've also been able to take some appetite suppressing tablets and I truly feel a lot better.
Anyone who's ever used Mirtazapine before will know that one of the unavoidable side effects to it is this never ending hunger. And for months now I've slowly out grown my own clothes due to this never ending feeling.

Now being larger inst a bad thing at all, my issue is the fact that my beautiful clothes are my life, and my passion. Yet suddenly I could no longer wear the things I'd saved up for over the years, I could no longer wear what makes me happy. and no matter how much intense exercise I did I couldn't lose the weight. Also I'm a vegetarian who hates sweet or fat filled food. I've always preferred peppers to chocolate or fries so my diet itself wasn't an issue, there was no end to the growth and there was nothing i could do to stop it.

If I was someone with quite a lot of money I could just buy new clothes, but like I said it had taken me years to build a cute new wardrobe that I loved. And despite the tablets leveling my mood I was constantly down due to the fact nothing I brought I could wear and even if i brought new clothes I'd out grow them too.

I recently saved up and made a RoxieSweetheart purchase (which I will review soon) to buy cute pastel clothes which could fit me and despite having that most days I'd have to wear the same black dresses with tights.

(I love Roxiesweetheart's wide ranges in clothes sizes!)

Even though I've only been on the tablets for around a day the emptiness inside my stomach has almost all gone. It feels so weird to have for so long always felt hungry to finally not have that anymore.

Like I said being larger isn't un-cute! and being larger isn't an issue, its just that what I loved in life was cute clothing, my cute clothing and its so nice too know that I can wear it again soon with my appetite suppressed.

I want everyone to know that they are perfect the way they are and like I said earlier, always just try your best!❤

Cheerful cute things to do! feat. International lolita day

Today is International lolita day!

What a nightmare! You hear sirens and people screaming, lolitas are tearing wigs off of one another and biting of waist ties and wrist cuffs everywhere they go. The general public are in a frenzy over the attack of the frilly beasts!

Okay but seriously today is a day where worldwide, people will be donning their petticoats for the purpose of celebration for the bi annual event that helps spread love for lolita fashion.
Lolita fashion is such a wonderful style, I love lolita, and although I prefer wearing otome and casual lolita more on the otome side I still adore this frill-tastic fashion.

So where ever you are, whether you're a fully fledged lolita or a frilly admirer make sure you feel as cute as you look!
I'm going to have some little cute tips for non lolita wearers feel as cute as their frilly friends! Though this post is mainly for people who feel down and just want a few inspirations on simple things to make them feel cute and happy.

When you're depressed or just down in the dumps in general its hard to feel cute let alone get out of bed, these are small little things you can do to feel more like a lolita when you either don't have the energy or you're just starting out and don't yet have the wardrobe of your dreams.

Now every lolita was once someone browsing through pictures of lolita's in their gorgeous dresses, whether it was via magazine or the internet we were all once foolish admirers with no idea how to feel or look as cute as the people we admired in those frilly dresses.

Now that I've been in the style for a few years I know how to make myself feel cute and frilly without the whole shibam! And although depression can be a butt and make it hard for you too go all out and be cute these little things are manageable and will still leave you feeling like the royalty you are.

Keep hanging in there okay, things will get better!

Thigh high socks!

Any cute sockies or tights will do, but thigh highs just scream that nostalgic love for them when we first started the style! your legs are cute so dress them up!

(left: Kawaiigoods Right: Bodyline)

Paint your nails friggin adorable!

Pastel colours your thing? Or a classy gothic look? Paint them nails! Seriously nails are such a simple thing that impacts an outfit. If you have cute nails you'll feel 10x as cute. Even add little stickers if you like, never enough stickers.
I never paint my own nails but lately I've really been inspired to do some cute design like the example below

Lolita-esque clothing!

Okay now this is vague as hell but what I mean by this is just wear something cute. Say if you like sweeter styles then wear a cute pastel top with some pumpkin shorts or a skater skirt, or if you like gothic styles a white shirt with a beautiful gothic skirt and mary janes? what ever you have and what ever you can do! Make yourself look as cute and you feel.
I just choose to show a picture on me wearing a cute flowy dress with some cute strapped heels- the outfit just reminded me of a uk highstreet lolita-esque outfit you could wear.

Browse through some cute blogs 'n vlogs

Mwaahahahaa, you're already looking through the cutest blog of all time you lucky loser!
(Well no but lets remain enthusiastic)
Seriously nothing gets me more pumped than browsing through cute blogs and vlogs, once you start on one it leads to watching/reading about 20 and feeling like the cutest mofo on this planet!

And remember- when you feel as cute as you really are then you're the cutest loser on this planet

(one of my favorite vloggers- though not j-fashion related it missremiashten, shes full of such creativity and positivety! )

'Lolita' music!

I love listening to lolita parody songs on YouTube. When I first started out trying Japanese street fashions those songs were my go to, they pumped me up and motivated me to work hard and save up for the fashions I loved.
Listening to classical music is also very lolita-esque and makes me full very frilly!

Have a cute bath!

seriously, bathing in swirling pastel colours with glitter can make even the darkest times feel a little bit brighter! I love using bubble bars, and bath bombs and bubble bar stuff to have a bubbly- pastel bath time!
I would super recommend twilight from lush- its pastel pink, and blue and glittery and goes purple when it melts together! <3

Okay having a cute snuggle with my plushies always make me feel a billion times cuter, and feeling cuter always make me happier and more confident in wearing cuter styles! enjoy yourself eating some tasty cute sweets whilst surrounding yourself in teddies- its cheesy I know but seriously it feels great (no shame bro)

Decorate candy (and other food)!

Okay I've never tried this before but oh my gosh do I feel so much cuter after looking at pictures of pocky sticks with icing and sprinkles on top, or on chocolate bars with strawberries, whipped cream and sugar stars on? does that not just melt your heart into little candy pieces? I'm not much of a sweet toothed person my self so a cute savory way to make savory food cuter is to put little flower shaped carrot pieces into it! -Got some pasta that looks dull? Have it with little carrot flowers, want to make a shepherds pie? Carrot flowers bro!

Any meal just make it slightly cuter- here is a little omelette I made!

Draw some cute pictures!

Okay now my suggestions sound really childish but seriously, drawing cute things will make you feel cuter, you could even draw your favorite prints and such- lolita art is always so beautiful and full of details which makes it fun to draw!

I just drew my favorite character of all time but anything you draw will be cute and great.

Update your instagram/twitter etc with cute pictures!

social media like Instagram and twitter can be your happy positive space that keeps you veering onto your goals, if you take a few cute pictures of whats lurking around your room and post it online you might feel a lot cuter- not to mention all the cute ways you can edit said photo's with sparkles and hearts etc!

So there were a few of my silly suggestions to keep happy and cute! I hope you all have a wonderful day whether you're a lolita or not. Remember to keep yourself happy and healthy.

I'll see you all soon egg buds!
