♥Spring lolita outfits ideas♥

I believe it is very important for a lolita to have plenty of co-ordinates up his or her sleeves, especially ones which reflect the season they are in. These can be super handy for meet ups as you'll always be able to co-ordinate to the seasons festivals, and iconic themes and just make preparing weather suitable co-ords a lot easier.

Since we are currently in spring, a very inspirational time for lolita I thought I'd share some spring time outfit ideas.

Spring time is a time renowned for the blooming of flowers, beautiful scenery, baby animals, and bright pastel colours. Many things which can be associated with lolita fashion and lolita prints. Not only lolita but most high street shops will also bring in their bright and floral themes in for this season.

Spring is also a good time since we can finally ditch the heavy coats and the dark colours and wear more breezy and light clothing.
Fabrics such as chiffon and linen really help to keep yourself cool in the warm weather and helps achieve a whole new look with your outfits.

Every spring we see an array of pastel clothing ranges appear in the high street which is a perfect time of year to catch a good bargain for accessories, socks, and t-shirt which can be used to fashions such as decora, fairy-kei, pop-kei, and OTT sweet lolita. The more floral and elegant spring time ranges can be easily used in dolly-kei, cult party-kei, shiro nuri, and classic lolita.

Not only does spring have the theme of flowers and pretty landscapes, it also holds the holiday of Easter which can be celebrated with various images. These images include chicks and bunnies, chocolate, eggs, and even just Christian motifs such as angels, stained glass windows and crucifixes.

I don't have many of these criteria, not even floral {(something which I shall definitely get soon)} but I can show you what outfits I've made in the theme of the bright and colourful season which is spring.

~A whimsical fantasy styled outfit which is roughly based on kodona~

~A simple yet cute sweet lolita outfit~

A simple retro inspire outfit- which has a summer feel~

~A simple pastel outfit~

~And a OTT styled seifuku outfit -which has a variety of pastels~

Most of what I've worn in these images have been either pastel or more loose with the material. I've not had a lot of images for this theme since I've mostly stuck to dark colours and leggings and baggy shirts. Since I've been to lazy to really dress up a lot of the time.

Hopefully come spring time my wardrobe will be more colourful~

I'm sorry that I've not been posting so regularly these last few weeks.
I have a stack of posts waiting to do so hopefully you'll look forward to them all

I hope I can announce my news soon, I've still got a few things to organise but hopefully I can get it all sorted soon enough~

So what do you guys like to wear at spring time? Do you prefer lighter colours like pastels, or do you stick to the darker colours?
I'd love to find out in the comments below~
Thank you so much for reading!

♥Outfit post and life update!♥

Apologies for not posting the last two weeks, I've been a mixture of extremely poorly and then extremely busy. Its slightly funny that I've only got time to blog now that college has started up again despite it being the peak period before the exams. Even so I've been even more eager to wear lolita.

In the last few weeks my mother has purchased a few cute things for me, a boxed early 2000's care bear, a MLP tote bag and a cute finger wack 'a mole game. She's very sweet to me when I'm ill.
I hope that you are all looked after well when you are sick.

I was only well for 11 days in March and on top of that I was ill for another two weeks into April. I wish I wasn't so prone to getting ill, but it seems that even though I take my vitamins and immune boosting drinks nothing seems to improve. I hope my health increases in time but I must be grateful for what I have.

More importantly I have lots of exciting things on the way for this blog but I don't want to give anything away! I hope you stay tuned for any big announcements I may have.

I'm extremely excited for the Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Concert which is only a week away. Though I have yet to put my outfit together which is a shame. I  have no clue what to wear except for a wig I've ordered but its yet to arrive. I certainly want to wear something bold and cute like decora. But I don't have anything which could even be considered decora.

What would you guys wear if you could go to kyary's concert, or what will you be wearing if you are going?

I'm also thinking about making a really big Taobao order. I'm only wondering if the large shipping price will be a problem. I should ideally be saving up for hyper japan in July but I'm really desperate for a load of Hannari tofu which is so hard to find anywhere outside of china it seems.

I also want to make a large Store envy Order too but I have very little funds right now, Hopefully I can sell a few dresses and such to afford all these luxuries!

I've also been lucky enough to win the reinbo neko sailor moon necklace give away.
I've been really adoring sailor moon merch recently, and since the anime and manga are so cute I think my inner shoujo is being forced to shine.

Their facebook can be found here!

They seriously have a wide range of cute necklaces, I'm especially fond of their acrylic necklaces. Just be sure to check them out.~

Sorry for the long rants I'll get straight to the outfit posts! UuU

I thought I'd give otome-kei a go but I'm not sure how it turned out as otome? But as an outfit I really like this one. I think I'll be wearing this to the next lolita meet up since it has a Picnic motif.

 (left- So determined! :C )

I'd like to thank you all for your comments and feedback on my posts. You've been a massive help for me and this blog would be nothing without you all so thank you all so much.

I hope to be posting plenty more outfit posts, tutorials, information blog posts and event posts soon, as well as My usual review posts and haul posts!

I hope you'll all be very happy with the results~

Violle ville *Semi sponsered review*

Hey there everyone! I'm back again with another review. I'm sorry if I'm boring you guys out with reviews but they're so fun to do and I've not really had the health to type anything else, there will be more varied posts soon so stay tuned for that.

This time my review is another Storenvy shop-Violle ville!

Violle Ville is a cute online store located on Storenvy which sells an array of pastel and cute jewellery. The store is based in Israel but does world wide shipping, which is very fast my parcel arrived in only a couple of days.

I'd only discovered this store a few weeks from ordering from it, which is unusual for me. I tend to know of a store for a few months before finally ordering but this store was really cute I just needed to get my hands on its cute goodies!

I was extremely happy when they said they'd semi sponsor me for this review, it allowed me to buy more of their products for this review so I'm extremely grateful.

Here is what I received from them:

I received a little cute box from her filled to the brim with pastel goodies~ she even included her adorable business card which I shall add to my board of business cards~
(Just look how safely packed everything is)

She managed to fit everything in a cute little box. Nothing was broken and came to me extremely quickly.

And here is everything all laid out, I'm especially in love with her business card. Its so cute and just covered with pastel colours~

~close ups of the products~
The rings~ Hello kitty bow ring, and a Hello kitty head ring~

The necklaces~ A chocolate dripped blue cookie necklace, A chocolate bunny necklace, and a pink rib cage necklace~

Review summary!Shipping: 5/5 - The shipping was from over seas yet got here in under a week. everything was sealed up nicely and I received everything in an adorable little box.

Products: 5/5 - Everything was as described on the store and more! They really are lovely in person, sadly my camera won't pick up all the details but everything is highly detailed and just really nice in general.

Price: 5/5- The items are a reasonable price since the items are really nice quality. And with the 30% discount for me being a first time reviewer meant I could afford even more items to review from her store.

Quality: 4.5/5 Everything is extremely vivid, durable and high quality. The items are exactly as seen in the stock photo's and if not even nicer in person. Everything is extremely sturdy, nothing feels like it will be breaking at any time. The only slight complaint I have is on the chocolate bunny necklace the clasp was extremely stiff but apart from that everything was excellent.

Over all: I really like this store, I'd only just found out about the store a few weeks before I placed my order but now I'm fixated on their products. I love how new items come in often and you don't have to wait a long time to see new cute jewellery. Violle ville is certainly a store to check out!

I'm really happy with all my products, Violle Ville is a store of which I'm certainly hooked on and shall be reviewing again very soon!
